Recycling will only flourish if there is a viable market for recycled materials, so Coca-Cola Recycling works with material processors and manufacturers to help develop new uses for recycled beverage containers.
More than 95% of recycled aluminum cans are used to make new cans, and recycled PET plastic bottles are used to make new bottles and all kinds of other things you might not expect – like carpet, fiberfill for sleeping bags, totes bags, clothing or the plastic carton that holds your strawberries.
