9/3/2010 - East Cobb Baseball Complex Goes Green

East Cobb Baseball (ECB) is one of the preeminent baseball  facilities in the nation; hosting youth baseball tournaments for 8-18 year old baseball teams from across the country.  Thousands of players, families and fans visit the park each year, drinking Coca-Cola refreshments while they enjoy baseball.  Now they can 'give it back'. ECB has implemented a recycling program to capture plastic bottles and cans from their 8 fields.

On August 19, the Coca-Cola team along with the East Cobb 10 Year Titan & Yankee team members and coaches wrap and deploy 60 recycling barrels.  There will be bins on each field and in the key locations throughout the park.  The park has established a goal to recover 100% of the beverage containers that are sold!
