Brandenton, FL was the site of the Earth Day celebration for Manatee County Schools Recycling Roundup. This event was sponsored by the local Coke team to raise recycling awareness for the students. Coke Recycling’s mobile educational vehicle (the REV) was on hand to educate the students through fun activities such as videos and interactive games. During the eight hour event the school district recycled over 11,000 pounds of plastic containers! Way to go!
