9/25/2010 - 17th Annual KWXX HoOlaulea in Hilo Recycles
Another recipient of Coca-Cola Recycling’s Employee Bin Grant was the 2010 Hawaiian Ho’olaule’a celebration in Hilo, Hawaii. More than 15,000 fans attended this annual celebration of Hawaii’s music, food and customs. The recycling bins were a great success in helping the crowds stay conscious of the environment while having a good time. Coke’s bottle and can recycling efforts netted more than $400 in redemption fees, and radio station KWXX will donate this to a charity of their choice.
