Spartanburg, SC, home to the world’s largest bottle-to-bottle recycling facility, has taken another step forward to increase recycling with the launch of iRecycle and Win!, an incentive program that encourages city residents to use curbside recycling.
Coordinated by Coca-Cola Recycling, the program is a joint effort by the City of Spartanburg, Coca-Cola, NURRC, and
BI-LO. Almost 4500 Spartanburg households have received one of the city’s new single-stream rolling recycle carts and are eligible to win a $50 BI-LO gift card each recycling collection day.
